Our Ethos

At All Souls’, our values are interwoven through all aspects of school life. These values, chosen by our school community, come from our faith and belief in Jesus and the stories that we learn throughout our time here. By following our faith in Jesus and learning from his stories we ensure that all of our children and adults flourish as happy, confident, respectful and resilient lifelong learners.

The story of ‘Joseph', which again was chosen by our school community, provides us with the basis of our school’s Christian values.  We ‘Grow Together in Faith with Joseph’, and at different stages the story represents all of our Christian values of ‘Respect’, ‘Trust’, ‘Friendship’, ‘Forgiveness’ and ‘Thankfulness’. We use the story to demonstrate all of these qualities with the children and it teaches us how we want to behave in our community. We take actions to make things better for others and for our experiences together as a community.

Our values are used to support behaviour in school.
