We are very excited about our new competition in school. Each classroom is decorating their door with a Christmas theme, and the children are working hard to make their decorations and doors look fabulously festive. Orcas have decided on a Grinch themed door, and have been enjoying making their ideas come to life.
We can't wait to see all the classroom doors turn festive!
Our Mini Cadets would like to give gifts to our local children’s ward at the William Harvey Hospital. The Padua Ward has been visited by the police officers that run our Mini Cadets, and the staff explained that they are in need of gifts, toys etc for the children that stay on their wards. The Mini Cadets made a list of the types of items needed, and once they have collected them, they will be making up individual shoeboxes for the children.
All items can be second-hand apart from teddies, soft or fluffy toys which can only be new. Please could all items be cleaned, like new and in good working order.
Ideas for items needed for the shoeboxes:
· Wordsearch books
· Puzzle books
· Colouring in books
· Colouring pens
· Nail varnish
· Pamper sets
· Reading books
· Fidgets
· Baby toys
· Board games
· Play dough
· Dobble
· Uno
· Card games
· Baby grows
· Vests
The hospital would also like any bigger items for their play room on the Padua Ward; toys, board games etc, but again, please ensure that these are like new condition, clean and in good working order.
THE MINI CADETS WILL BE ON THE SCHOOL GATES AT MORNING DROP OFF FROM MONDAY 1ST DECEMBER TO FRIDAY 5TH DECEMBER – PLEASE BRING ANY DONATIONS TO THE MORNING GATE THAT WEEK.
This week in Mini Cadets, we chose our Mini Cadet Sergeant. She is a kind, helpful role model, who is always ready to learn in the sessions. On our recent open day, when our mini cadets helped out, we received an email from a prospective parent to say that our sergeant was extremely polite, helpful and encouraging. Well done! We are very proud of you!
This week, our young carers had a wonderful time at East Kent College, where they joined the catering department for the afternoon. They were shown how to make a scotch egg and then had the chance of making their own. Thank you to everyone at the college for making the afternoon possible. The children really enjoyed themselves.

Well done to everyone for all your hard work this week!

Congratulations to two of our pupils who had their first tackle rugby game last weekend. They tackled hard and scored some tries, which is an amazing first effort. Well done, girls!
Well done, All Souls' Primary! We raised £107.60 for World Mental Health day.
The children had a lot of fun in class. They learnt that it is ok to feel all kinds of feelings, and how talking helps you to feel better, if you have a worry. They also wrote what positive things they can tell themselves when things are not going to plan and wrote them on their 'positive pants'.
