    • Ladybirds - Aaliyah for her character drawing in Drawing Club.
    • Bumblebees - Marhaba for showing respect in the classroom and being a brilliant tidier!
    • Fireflies - Jack for his amazing attitude to learning and showing great resilience when things get tricky. Fantastic!
    • Caterpillars - Jesse for being a superstar.
    • Dolphins - Lucy Mae for showing our value of friendship and helping others.
    • Sharks - Freddie for respect. He is always kind and listens wisely to adults.
    • Stingrays - Sharissa for showing the value of respect by being focused in lessons and making good progress in Maths.
    • Turtles - Dara for her thoughtful writing and hard work.
    • Orcas - Nancy for persistent hard work and dedication in every lesson.
    • Penguins - Amara for excellent work all week.

  • Christmas Door Competition

    We are very excited about our new competition in school. Each classroom is decorating their door with a Christmas theme, and the children are working hard to make their decorations and doors look fabulously festive. Orcas have decided on a Grinch themed door, and have been enjoying making their ideas come to life.

    We can't wait to see all the classroom doors turn festive!

  • Donations For Padua Children's Ward

    Our Mini Cadets would like to give gifts to our local children’s ward at the William Harvey Hospital. The Padua Ward has been visited by the police officers that run our Mini Cadets, and the staff explained that they are in need of gifts, toys etc for the children that stay on their wards. The Mini Cadets made a list of the types of items needed, and once they have collected them, they will be making up individual shoeboxes for the children.

    All items can be second-hand apart from teddies, soft or fluffy toys which can only be new. Please could all items be cleaned, like new and in good working order.

    Ideas for items needed for the shoeboxes:

    ·         Wordsearch books

    ·         Puzzle books

    ·         Colouring in books

    ·         Colouring pens

    ·         Nail varnish

    ·         Pamper sets

    ·         Reading books

    ·         Fidgets

    ·         Baby toys

    ·         Board games

    ·         Play dough

    ·         Dobble

    ·         Uno

    ·         Card games

    ·         Baby grows

    ·         Vests

    The hospital would also like any bigger items for their play room on the Padua Ward; toys, board games etc, but again, please ensure that these are like new condition, clean and in good working order.

    THE MINI CADETS WILL BE ON THE SCHOOL GATES AT MORNING DROP OFF FROM MONDAY 1ST DECEMBER TO FRIDAY 5TH DECEMBER – PLEASE BRING ANY DONATIONS TO THE MORNING GATE THAT WEEK.

  • Mini Cadet Sergeant Appointed!

    This week in Mini Cadets, we chose our Mini Cadet Sergeant. She is a kind, helpful role model, who is always ready to learn in the sessions. On our recent open day, when our mini cadets helped out, we received an email from a prospective parent to say that our sergeant was extremely polite, helpful and encouraging. Well done! We are very proud of you!

  • Scotch Eggstravaganza!

    This week, our young carers had a wonderful time at East Kent College, where they joined the catering department for the afternoon. They were shown how to make a scotch egg and then had the chance of making their own. Thank you to everyone at the college for making the afternoon possible. The children really enjoyed themselves.

  • Rugby Success

    Congratulations to two of our pupils who had their first tackle rugby game last weekend. They tackled hard and scored some tries, which is an amazing first effort. Well done, girls!

  • World Mental Health Day

    Well done, All Souls' Primary! We raised £107.60 for World Mental Health day.  

    The children had a lot of fun in class. They learnt that it is ok to feel all kinds of feelings, and how talking helps you to feel better, if you have a worry. They also wrote what positive things they can tell themselves when things are not going to plan and wrote them on their 'positive pants'.

  • Fitness Training For The Mini Cadets

    Our Mini Cadets were 'put through their paces', this week, when they took part in fitness training. They were put through the bleep test, which is a test that all police officers have to take part in when joining the police force. They all did so well and impressed everyone with their stamina. Our cadets then took part in some fun team work games and finished off the session with parade training from the Chief Inspector!

    • Orcas - Jaxon M-P for an outstanding recount in English.
