Well done, All Souls' Primary! We raised £107.60 for World Mental Health day.
The children had a lot of fun in class. They learnt that it is ok to feel all kinds of feelings, and how talking helps you to feel better, if you have a worry. They also wrote what positive things they can tell themselves when things are not going to plan and wrote them on their 'positive pants'.
Our Mini Cadets were 'put through their paces', this week, when they took part in fitness training. They were put through the bleep test, which is a test that all police officers have to take part in when joining the police force. They all did so well and impressed everyone with their stamina. Our cadets then took part in some fun team work games and finished off the session with parade training from the Chief Inspector!
Well done Mini Cadets! Keep up the amazing commitment to your training!

Well done to everyone for all your hard work this week!
This week, Orcas went to the local library to look for some books for their personal reading. There were so many wonderful books to choose from! They enjoyed looking for books by their favourite author and exploring new genres.
Orcas are learning about Ancient Egypt in class, and were able to find some books at the library that will help them with their class topic.
Well done to everyone for all your hard work this week!

Our new group of mini police cadets started this week, and they were fantastic. They have a 9-week course ahead of them, learning lots of new skills and information about the world around them and the police force.
The police officer training them said she has never had a group pick up how to be on parade as quickly as they did on Wednesday.
Well done cadets! We are very proud of you all!
