  • New Recruits!

    Published 03/10/25

Our new group of mini police cadets started this week, and they were fantastic. They have a 9-week course ahead of them, learning lots of new skills and information about the world around them and the police force.

The police officer training them said she has never had a group pick up how to be on parade as quickly as they did on Wednesday.

Well done cadets! We are very proud of you all!

  • Mizen Sparkle Award

    Published 14/06/25

We are super proud of Myla for being awarded the Sparkle Award this week.

This award is given yearly to a child that stands out in our school, who embodies the values of kindness, support, and community spirit. From lending a helping hand to offering words of encouragement, Sparkle Award recipients demonstrate compassion and selflessness in their actions.

The foundation of the award is rooted in a profound need to nurture kindness and social responsibility in our children. Founded by Margaret and Barry Mizen in the wake of the tragic loss of their son Jimmy, the Sparkle Award serves as a tribute to Jimmy’s legacy, inspiring young people to make positive contributions and spread kindness wherever they go.

    Well done, Myla!
