Advent

We have been so busy this week learning about the First Christmas and how we prepare for Christmas during Advent.

Road Safety

We know how to stay safe near roads! In group time, we practised crossing the road. Who can remember our code?

Well done ladybirds!

 

This week we have been discovering dark places in school and thinking about why they are dark. In maths, we have been finding 1 less and singing songs such as ten green bottles to help us with our understanding. 

On Tuesday we heard about why we wear a poppy and made our own to wear or give to a friend.

We have thought very carefully about how to be a good friend!  We know that we say kind words, we help and have fun with our friends. We have made friendship bracelets and cards for our friends too! Super green behaviour! Well done Ladybirds!

Most children now have a Bug Club letter in their reading folder, which has details on how you can log on to the online programme where you can find resources allocated for your child. You will find the username and password in your child's reading record. Any questions, please ask. 

 

What a great week ladybirds. You have all impressed me so much! Super learning in maths using a five frame and finding one more, learning a dance in P.E., remembering lots of our new sounds in phonics and asking lots of questions about Guy Fawkes!
