Religious Education

Our Christian ethos promotes the moral and spiritual growth of our pupils through a developing awareness of themselves and consideration for others. Children will develop an appreciation for, and sense of wonder about the natural world. We actively promote a sense of community through shared values. Pupils develop the ability to make reasoned and informed judgements about moral and religious issues encouraging a positive attitude and respect for the views of others.

RE is taught in accordance with Understanding Christianity alongside the Kent Agreed Syllabus, this develops knowledge of Christianity whilst raising awareness of other world faiths. In addition, we share the celebration of major festivals with the local Nepali community.
