Phonics resources

Here you will find links and attachments to help you with this week's Phonics learning.

This week we are going to start looking at some phase 4 words.
We would still like you to continue to recap your phase 3 sounds daily to make sure you don’t forget them!
We would also like you to continue to read sentences containing your phase 3 sounds. (see activity under phonics on website)
Please continue to look for your phase 3 sounds in books at home as well!

In phase 4 we will start by reading cvcc words ( consonant, vowel, consonant, consonant e.g. tent, vest, list etc)
Talk with your child about the alphabet and the letters which are consonants and those which are vowels. Practise identifying these with your child. Talk about cvcc words with them. Can they spot the vowels in these words?
