My Active Rainbow Challenge

Normally, the Shepway Sports Trust would hand out plenty of medals as part of the Kent school games finals, as these are unable to take place this year they needed to find another way to award them!

They have created the 'active rainbow challenge' for pupils in Years 1 -5 which is free of charge to enter and can take place at home.

Download the attached booklet, have a go at the activities and send your entries into

Entries need to be submitted by 31st August 2020.

This is not a school competition but we will try to help however you need.

Year 6 - you have not been forgotten - there will soon be an additional challenge for you to support your transition into secondary school - keep checking back!

Good luck, have fun and don't forget to send us pictures of you completing the activities and more importantly of you and your medals at the end!

PE update - 26.05.2020

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all keeping safe and well.

Bikeability Cycle Training - Level 1 - 3
A particular message for our Year 6 pupils and parents - I am sure by now you will have come to the conclusion that Bikeability training will not take place, today, we have received confirmation of this.

I can only apologise as I know many of you were looking forward to this and being in Year 6 we know this was your last opportunity to take part. As I'm sure you can understand, the situation is very much out of our control.

I can, however, provide you with some resources that may be useful to use at home which have been passed onto us from Bikability. Please take a look at the attachments on the bottom of this page.

If you can get out and about on your bike safely please remember to always wear a helmet, we know you may not think it is 'cool' but it is much cooler than a damaged head!

For all other pupils, I hope that you have found some of the resources for SST useful and may have been able to take part in challenges at home.

Here are a couple of other links to some new activities you can try:

Go Noodle PE activities

Cosmic Kids Yoga

PE with Joe Wicks

I hope you have lots of fun whatever you get up to keeping active - I would love to see some photos - you can send them into headteacher@allsouls.kent.sch.uk and we will put you on the website for us and all your friends to see!

Hello everyone!

I'm sure you are all aware of the importance of physical activity and know how we encourage and challenge our pupils to take part in following the Government guidelines of at least an hour a week of school sport and 30 minutes every day of physical activity.

Now, more than ever, keeping active is really important for everyone, our pupils, their families and our staff. It will not only keep our bodies fit and healthy, but also ensure our minds are strong and producing lots of happy endorphins to keep us going through these different times.

You may be aware that as a school we work closely with The Shepway Sports Trust and are very lucky that they are producing high quality resources to support us in providing PE at home. On this page we will share with you resources and websites that can be used to promote activity within your household. The Shepway Sports Trust also have a range of social media channels where you can also find resources - these are only for guidance and we are not in any way encouraging our pupils to set up a social media account to access these. They should only be used by a responsible adult and children should be supervised.

I hope you find these resources useful and enjoy taking part in them as a family.
