We have had a very busy first week back and, as well as getting stuck into our learning, have enjoyed exploring the new areas in the classroom and garden including the aquarium, pirate den, beach café and Barbie mermaid small world set.

Why not have a go at a double fishing game? Click on the picture below to have a go. It is found on the TopMarks website. Although the game says it is 'Mulitiplication', when you begin the game you can select a level to play. Simply click on 'Recall and use all doubles up to 10' then get fishing. When you catch a fish, see how many doubles you can answer before time runs out!

We used our Makaton actions to join in with the 'Singing Hands' song, 'Down there under the sea'. Click on the picture below to hear the song again. Please remember to keep safe when using the internet- always have a grown-up with you.

Welcome back Ladybird Learners! We hope you had a lovely week off and have been enjoying the Spring sunshine.

Believe it or not, we are now in our final term in Ladybird Class-the year has gone so quickly! There is still much to look forward to this term with our trip to the coastal park and our sports event at the Three Hills.

Our curriculum theme this term is called...

In our learning we will be finding out about the creatures that live in an ocean habitat, discovering what a trip to the seaside looked like long ago, exploring floating and sinking and finding out how our oceans are being affected by people and pollution. To see our curriculum in detail, for this term, please click on the 'Ladybirds Class Termly Curriculum Grids' link on the right-hand menu.

Parents/Carers: As always, if you have any questions, comments or concerns please do come and chat to me or drop me an email:
