Home Learning - Years 5 and 6 - W.B. 6th July 2020

YEAR 6 NEWS!
Good morning Year 6! Your teachers have been busy chatting with you, your parents/carers and Mrs Ransley and Mr Day over the last couple of weeks, and we are now at a stage (with changes to restrictions) where we would very much like to give you the chance to come into school for a celebration and goodbye on Monday July 20th.
A letter will be sent out shortly giving more details (including staying safe), but the Starfish Group will be invited to come between 11am and 12pm, and Jellfyish Group between 1pm and 2pm - so add the date to your diary!
As part of your home learning this week, could you also create a short note of your favourite memory of your time at All Souls', and we will share these when you come in! It only needs to be short - just a 'My favourite school memory was...'.
We really hope you can all come!

Prime Minister Boris Johnson to address all school leavers
On Friday 10 July at 10am, the Prime Minister will be giving an address to all school leavers which will be broadcast on Facebook and YouTube.
We have been asked to encourage all of our final year students to tune in!
A recording of the address will be available to view on both platforms.

Week beginning 6th July 2020

Hello Year 5 and 6!

Weather has been a little less friendly this week - but we still have summer to look forward to!

As usual, please try your best to do some home learning (as much as you can is fine), as this will really help you when we return to school. Year 6, you will also find it a valuable step in supporting your transition to secondary school.

Make sure you are reading as much as possible - and please have a go at Nessy and TTRockstars alongside your usual learning too (we love seeing how well you are doing).

If you prefer, try the Quick English - or try out the Year 3/4 page for some lovely activities that be more suitable if you are having an 'off week' (we all have them!).

Don't forget Padlet is available for you to use too.
