Home Learning - Years 3 & 4 - W.B. 27th April 2020
Good morning children (and Grown ups!) welcome to your new week of home learning opportunities. All the staff really miss you all and we hope you have seen and enjoyed our video message on the Home Learning page.
Are you finding it difficult to find time to access your learning activities?
If you are, hopefully this will help. Our challenge to you, is to try to spend an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon accessing the activities on this page as well as 10 minutes reading every day. Remember you can use the Weekly Overview Document below to help you plan your days and activities. That still leaves plenty of the day for enjoying the warmer weather in the garden, trying out Joe Wicks’ morning workout, computer games, baking with your grown ups, playing with your toys and all the other lovely things that we’re sure you are getting up to. Please remember to share your lovely pictures by sending them to the school using; firstname.lastname@example.org There are some great examples on the Home Learning Gallery!
Well done to the children who have been accessing their accounts on Accelerated Reader, Times Tables Rock Stars, Bug Club and Nessy. The teachers are continuing to monitor them and it would be great to see everyone using these useful resources.
Check out this awesome website for some fun science experiments that you can do at home. You can download a copy of a book of experiments for free. (Adult supervision is required but these experiments are really fun!) www.sublimescience.com
You will need to put in an email address (please ask your adults to help you with this) and they send you a weekly fun activity to do for free.
Have a fun week everyone!
Mrs Walker, Mrs Webb and Mr Morrison.
