    • Bumblebees - Mia Y for lovely independent writing this week.
    • Fireflies - Bobby O for his fabulous attitude in maths.
    • Caterpillars - Jitesh R for great perseverance with his reading.
    • Dolphins - Curtis W for trying hard in Maths and reading.
    • Sharks - Ehlin H as she has been a wonderful helper and brings heaps of positivity to the classroom.
    • Stingrays - Jax M for trying hard with his reading and being a kind and polite member of the class.
    • Turtles - Jaime E for her focus and attention in class.
    • Orcas - Darius P for the lovely presentation of his work this week.
    • Penguins - Cody C and Preston T for both having excellent focus in English this week.

  • A Trip to Fort Burgoyne​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

    The young carers had a lovely morning at Fort Burgoyne in Dover this week, where they took part in team games and ended the day with a scavenger hunt around the beautiful fort.

  • Star of the Week - 4.4.25

    • Bumblebees - Rosie-Rai for trying hard with lots of her learning.
    • Fireflies - Bria for amazing effort all week.
    • Caterpillars - Harry for being helpful and considerate.
    • Dolphins - Harry for trying hard with his Maths, thinking carefully about his answers.
    • Sharks - Max has worked really hard recently with his writing and improving at listening to instructions.
    • Stingrays - Christopher for a great effort and positive attitude in all lessons this week.
    • Turtles - Ella for her amazing writing in English and her general attitude towards learning.
    • Orcas - Primrose for trying hard in Maths.
    • Penguins - Cody H for settling in so well, and already being a great part of Team Penguin!

  • A Visit From The High Sheriff Of Kent

    We celebrated with our mini cadets this week, after they finished their training programme with Kent Police. We were delighted to welcome the High Sheriff of Kent to our morning worship, where all the children learnt about her role. The children asked the High Sheriff so many questions, as they found her role extremely interesting.

    The children watched a presentation about what the cadets had been learning, and they saw the cadets on parade. Our wonderful cadets were then presented with their certificates by the High Sheriff of Kent.

    Well done mini cadets, we are very proud of you!

    • Bumblebees - Kathleen for being a great role-model on our school trip to the farm!
    • Fireflies - Hayden for a super attitude to learning.
    • Caterpillars - Tobias for great effort in all his learning.
    • Dolphins - Kai for trying hard in French and with his D.T evaluation.
    • Sharks - Elis has only recently joined us but has managed to add such kindness and joy to our class. Glad to have you Elis!
    • Stingrays - Seb for writing a fantastic Harry Potter play script in English.
    • Turtles - George for always working hard and having a great attitude towards his learning.
    • Orcas - Loreen for always putting 100% of her effort into everything she does.
    • Penguins - Dylan in Penguins for excellent focus in Maths and English.

  • A Trip To The Police Station!

    Our Mini Cadets were lucky enough to spend the morning at Folkestone Police Station. They experienced being in custody, visited the control centre and even got to dress in uniform! A brilliant experience for them all. Thank you, Folkestone police station for making us feel so welcome, and well done Mini Cadets for being a credit to the school.
