Friday 15th July is Tag Day. Please can children bring in a bottle, as a donation for the Summer Fete.

Gardening Club have been growing tomatoes and sweetcorn, which will be ready for us to harvest during August/September. They have been tending the school flowers, and they look very pretty. Well done, gardeners, for your hard work.
Year 6 attended the annual Canada Day service, held at the Shorncliffe Military Cemetery, where the children remembered the Canadian soldiers, who lost their lives in World War 1. Thank you to all the families who sent their children in with flowers.
Enact Solutions came into school and gave an interactive performance to children in Year 5 about some of the different roles within the NHS. These include - porter, security, radiologist and dietician to name a few. Did you there are 350 roles with the NHS?
This week, we thought we would make the most of the sunshine, so we went out into the playground to practise writing our tricky words in chalk!
The Charivari Parade is back, after two long years due to Covid, and the children from All Souls’ have once again been invited to take part!
This year’s theme is ‘DECADES’, and we are expecting a vibrant and colourful parade full of music, fun and nostalgia.
Charivari Day will take place on Saturday 16th July 2022, and will include the afternoon carnival procession and a music programme. For more information see the newsletter.
Composer, vocalist and performer, Randolph Matthews, came into school to collect sounds for a new piece of music that he has been commissioned to compose.
